Ashish Parmar has been providing professional commercial photography service to individuals, small business and high-end clients for over 10 years.

From people to products, food to furniture, weddings to web designing he has the commercial photography experience and creative talent to solve and enhance any photographic needs.

Bearing testimony to this is the Canon Nature Photographer of the Year Award; which he won in 2009 and his images being recognised by National Geographic Stock imagery, TIME magazine, The Natural History Museum & Better Photography magazine.

He was the Chief Photographer for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the DLF IPL 2010 and was the Official photographer at the Kingfisher Oktoberfest 2010. He is also Associate photographer for the Hard Rock Cafe Bengaluru.

AB Apana is a writer and photographer based in Bangalore, India.

AB Apana is a writer and photographer. His work has appeared in national and international publications and he is represented by Alamy Images, UK and Photographers Direct, UK. AB Apana Photography is a private limited company registered in India.

Apana has won competitions with EOS Magazine and with the British Wildflower Society.


He is constantly experimenting and is a pioneer of fisheye imaging, extreme photomacrography and HDR Imaging in India. His lenses range from the conventional to the esoteric such as the 8mm fisheye and Canon's photomacrography MP-E 65.

He brings a background in corporate learning and development, where he has worked with numerous Fortune 50 and 500 clients, to BPW's instruction.

He has also worked as Manager (Wildlife Operations and Business Development) for Conservation Corporation of India's Infinity Resorts chain.

Mr.Ashish Parmar was selected as the Chief & Official Photographer of the Royal Challengers Bangalore for DLF IPL 2010.
The award ceremony was presided by Mr.Anil Kumble, Mr.Sambit Bal (editor cricinfo), Mr.Siddhartha Vijay Mallya & Mr.Ray Jennings who also were the judges.
His will be travelling with the team for 6 weeks (end of April 2010), hence there will be no workshops in the month of March & April.

Registrations for May are open & we now have a new course included once he is back & that will be Sports Photography !!!

CANON AWARD

Mr.Ashish Parmar was awarded the 1st Prize (Canon 70-200mm L series USM lens) for his submission in the wildlife photography category for the Canon Big Shot contest.
The award ceremony was presided by Mr.Anil Kumble & Mr.Anand Sharan who was the judge for the contest.
His images will be on display at the Canon Image Lounge, Brigade tower,Brigade road, Bangalore for the coming month.

BETTER PHOTOGRAPHY NOMINATION

Glad to announce that BPW co-founder Mr.Ashish Parmar's "The Flying Cheetah" image made it to the TOP 3 in wildlife photography category of the Better Photography Photographer of the Year 2010.
